Conscience, Values, and Standards

Thailand has awakened to the need for environmental protection and preservation, and the situation is slowly but gradually improving.

However, seeing Bavaria on this trip makes me realize how far Thailand still has to go, and it's a vey long way indeed.

Laws and regulations will help, but it's personal conscience and social values and standards, not government control, that create love and respect for the environment.

In addition, an aesthetic sense that is not based on a mentality of shophouse commercialism is required, but I haven't a clue how this change could come about in Thailand's case.
