Are You a General?

Soon after I got into a taxi in Bangkok the other day, the driver asked me, "Are you a general?"
I laughed but he said he was observing my bearing and my aura of strength and authority and was consequently convinced that I must be a general.
Needless to say, I tipped him generously, for a fellow with such astute and completely accurate sense of observation should not go unrewarded. And I'm quite sure that the next frail old guy he picks up will hear the question, "Are you an admiral?"
