Where's Everybody?

I won't even try to understand why overcrowded, heavily commercialized, condo infested seaside places like Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Koh Samui are so popular with tourists. Here's Tumtong beach at the border between the provinces of Chumporn and Prachuabkhirikan. I once walked on this beach in one direction for nearly two hours and saw only one other person along the way.

European travelers (mainly Germans and Swedes) are just beginning to discover this area. There is a small resort where the restaurant's menu is all in German.
