After a 45-kilometer ride from my house in Bang Saphan Noi to the resort town of Baan Groude, I felt a happy sense of appreciation for the bike that took me there and decided that it should be shown on this blog. Given modern engineering technology and design, it is the bike rather than the rider that deserves most of the credit for good performance.
There is a Thai expression that I like: "kamrai nai cheewit" - "profit in life", or the things that make life wonderful. Biking a fair distance and along beautiful beaches enriches me every time.
