When I was growing up, children were warned not to look at clouds and imagine things from them. "You'll lose your mind," we were told.To me, that was encouragement, not prohibition.
Nowadays, I have odd moments when I wish a dragon would show up over the horizon for me again and breathe plumes of steam.
I was driving along a backroad in Bang Saphan Noi when I looked out the side window and saw this cloud formation. No dragons there, but I do see a likeness of Buddha sitting in lotus position on the right side of the picture, his profile slightly darker than the background. He's blessing the land below just before sending down life-sustaining and refreshing raindrops in each of which he is, by virtue of compassion, an integral part.
